Wedding Memories

Today, April 23 would have been our 36th Wedding Anniversary. When we took our wedding vows that day, in 1983, the last five words we said were "till death do us part" we were then announced, husband and wife. In all honesty, I would have to say that neither one of us ever thought about the "till death do us part" would ever happen.  However, I'm now in my third year without Paul here to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary.  I continue to keep the faith and take one day at a time knowing that the Lord is with me-I have His promise-"I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken for He is right beside me." Psalm 16:8.
In my heart, I feel it is important to remember this day. Our marriage was the beginning of our life together, we were blessed with four amazing children and more happy moments than sad moments.
My blog is where I share my reflections on finding joy in grief.  Looking at photos brings me joy and I wanted to share some candid photos from our wedding day. The photos were taken in the front yard of my parent's home. It was important for us before the wedding dance to spend some time at their home. I love how the photographer captured these moments.

Thank you for visiting my small, humble blog.

With love,
Patty
