Tears will flow because something will come to mind about a loved one, or the tears will flow for no apparent reason. Recently I had this moment of the tears streaming down my face thinking about my son Joe and my husband, Paul.
This is the reality of the missing piece of our lives. It's ok to let the tears flow.

Yes, the puffy eyes and runny nose afterward is one side effect, yet the tears are healing.
We have this promise from the Lord in Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe away every tear from our eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
This is a promise we can hold onto my dear family and friends.
