The topic of the coronavirus is forefront on everyone’s mind and in most of all of our conversations.
My family is no exception, we have shared our thoughts, feelings and made a few jokes as well.
 During our conversation, the phrase came to my mind “this too shall pass”. I have heard this phrase often in my lifetime. This phrase is a way to give hope in a difficult time.
What will be the effect of this after we recover and go back to the quote “normal”?
Will we have learned anything from this?
Where will we focus our hope?
May we keep our focus and hope in the Lord. He is in control of all the uncertainty.
Prayer for all of us in this time of uncertainty:
Lord, we have heard the phrase “this too shall pass” this gives us hope. Help us to focus on You as our hope. Your word tells us in Romans 5:1-5 “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God. And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance, and perseverance,  proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”
