Alarms, Beeps, Reminders

Do you set alarms as reminders to help you throughout the day? The first thing in the morning (unless I wake up before my alarm) is the beep, beep of my alarm clock. Then there are the reminders on my phone of the things I need to get done for the day. As I make a meal, the beep, beep of the timer on the oven that my dinner has finished cooking. While doing laundry, there is the beep, beep when the washer has completed the cycle. I then put the load in the dryer; when the load is dry, I will hear the beep, beep once again. This process takes place every day. The alarms, in a sense, give some structure to our day.
As we go through our day, Scripture is here to bring structure to our day as well, as we read in Psalm 90:12, "Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom."

Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Our days are full of the many things we need to get done. Setting alarms and listening for the beeps are helpful, yet we also need wisdom. Teach us as only You can to number our days to gain a heart of wisdom.
In the name of Jesus, we pray,
Amen
