To The Woman Who Has Lost A Child

Oh, I want to take the reality from you that you lost your child. If only I could, I certainly would. There is one thing that I can offer, God knows your pain, and He keeps track of your sorrows and tears as we read in Psalm 56:8, "You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book."
The past few days, I've been thinking a lot about what my son, Joe, would look like at 32 years old. The tears fall hard and fast. Knowing God keeps track of my tears doesn't take the yearning away, but it does give some comfort to know He is here for me, as He is here for you.
I know the importance of living in the moment and being thankful for the family and friends that I have here with me now. It's ok to have times when we miss and want our child here with us. Please know that you are not alone.
In a previous post, I shared some encouragement on the loss of a child. You are welcome to read it here: Sprinkle Of Encouragement.

May you rest this week knowing God sees your tears, and He cares about your broken heart.

With love,
Patty
