My beloved husband, Paul, passed away on this day six years ago. Please know my heart; I'm not here to seek sympathy; I just wanted to reflect on his importance in my life. We cared deeply for one another, and the Lord blessed us with four exceptional children. He worked hard to provide for our family and loved us in his "rough around the edges" way.
His laugh made others laugh. If a car or truck needed repair, Paul was the one many would bring to get their vehicle fixed in his garage.
The anniversary is one day of many that I miss him. That's ok because this shows the love I will always have for him. Grief is a part of my life, as it is for many of you. With prayer and support from family and friends, we find a way to keep moving forward and yet not forget our lost loved ones.
Wherever you might be in your journey through grief, may you find comfort in your memories and know a Heavenly Father cares for you.
"Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you." (1 Peter 5:7)

With love,
Patty
