Happy Mother's Day to all my family and friends. I want to take this time to honor my mother, Shirley, for her love and care for our family. God bless you, Mom.
Mother takes on many forms: mother to our children, grandchildren, adopted children, step-children, and pets. Perhaps you do not have any children, yet you are a mother to your nieces, nephews, and neighbors. All are important and valued.
If your mother is no longer here, this can be a tough day for you, and I extend my sympathy.
Also, if you lost a child or the father of your children is no longer here, I extend my sympathy to you.
I'm a proud mother of three daughters, they are a blessing to me, and I cherish each of them.
Mother's Day also brings some mixed emotions for me as I miss my son, Joe, and the father of my children, Paul. Yet, I'm thankful they were and will always be a part of my life.
Motherhood is all about loving and caring for those that the Lord has entrusted to us.
"Above all, love each other deeply because love covers over a multitude of sins." 1 Peter 4:8 (NIV)May you have a beautiful and blessed Mother's Day.
With love,
Patty
