With the hustle and bustle of getting things prepared for the Christmas season, rushing each morning to go to work, and being so exhausted and tired when I get home, I felt the Lord was telling me to take some time to be still. As I took the time to be still at my apartment, I could see the traffic was moving along on the freeway nearby, people were outside walking their dogs or getting into their cars. Life is always on the move. Life is full of joys, sorrows, obligations, and a constant "to-do-lists." Yet, God, Himself asks us to be still. How about you, can you find some time to be still?
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
In your Word, we are told and asked to be still.
Help us to find time to be still and know that you are God. Help us to see that You are in every aspect of our lives.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
