Although I have never worked with clay at a potter's wheel, I think it is a fantastic process how a piece of clay, water, and skillful hands can produce a pot. 

We, too, are like clay, and the Lord is the potter. He is always at work in us. His skillful hands are molding and shaping us into the people He wants us to be. Although we may sometimes feel frustrated with things in our lives, we can rest knowing the Lord, the potter, is at work in each of us. We are the work of His hand.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for giving us the example of how clay, water, and a potter's wheel produce a pot. This example helps us see how we are the clay, and You are the potter, and that we are the work of Your hand.
