We would all agree there is nothing good about;

~losing loved ones

~sickness of any kind

~job loss

~strained relationships

~so many other unhappy situations

This promise is not saying these things are good. We are not asked to like these things. Yet God asks us to trust in Him and love Him when things are going well and when things are not going well. In time He will work all things together for our good.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come to You now and admit we do not like the hardships we have encountered. Help us to love You and trust You in all situations. 

In the name of Jesus, we pray,
