When There Are Times Of Feeling Weary


Do you ever have times of feeling weary? It can be because of life circumstances, not feeling well, or there might not be any reason at all, simply said we just feel drained. If you do, I completely understand because it happens to me, and I honestly don't see it as a lack of faith either. I thought I would offer a few suggestions to help out when there are times of feeling weary:
  • Enjoy a cup of tea, hot cocoa, or coffee. A hot beverage can be soothing, and allowing it to cool before sipping gives time to reflect.
  • Take a few moments to step outside. The fresh air helps clear the mind.
  • Look for something to be thankful for each day.
  • Spend time with family members and friends.
  • Perhaps, you have some suggestions as well. If you do, feel free to comment below.
  • When the feelings of weariness are ongoing, please seek guidance from a pastor or counselor.
In the Bible, we can find encouragement, as we read in Isiah 40:29, "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." 

Let us pray together,
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come to you with times of feeling weary. We ask for the strength we need, and we appreciate that the strength comes from You.
