I'm feeling a little of both. From late October through the first days of January, I enjoy seeing the lights on houses as I drive to work, and I wrote a blog post about this if you would like to read it here: The Glow Of The Christmas Lights. Slowly, one by one, the lights on the houses are no longer there, and I will miss them until they appear again in October.

Regarding goal planning, I have read so often about the importance of writing them down in a journal or a word document and then praying for guidance from the Lord. This concept is further confirmed in reading Proverbs 16:9, "In their hearts, humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps." My dear family and friends, when I start planning out 2023, I want to keep this Bible verse in mind.
