In grief, we miss our loved ones, which is understandably so. We can relive the memories we have by talking with others about our memories, writing them down in a journal, or even start a blog. Yet as much as we miss them, it is important to begin new memories, which I have discussed in more depth in this post-Memories
With the year 2020 behind us, my three daughters and I made a list of things we would like to do in 2021. Our plan is to make sure we gather together at least once a month. We even created our own slogan for the year, "More Family Fun In 2021," 😊
The first gathering was a walk on the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis, Minnesota. On Saturday, January 9, 2021, with a temperature of 10 degrees, we bundled up in our warmest clothes and walked along this bridge. It was refreshing to have a change of scenery and visit as we walked.
How about you, in your grief, are you able to share your memories of your loved one?
Feel free to share a memory of your loved one in the comments below. Also, feel free to share a new memory you have since the loss of your loved one. I would love to hear from you.
Thank you for visiting my small, humble blog.
With love,
Patty
