Finding Time To Pray In The Car Wash

"Pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."
1 Thessalonians 5:17-18

For those of us that drive cars, one thing is for certain-our cars get dirty. They need to be cleaned/ either at home with a bucket of water, soap, and a garden hose or driving through a car wash. My personal choice is to go through a car wash. While I'm in the car wash, I get impatient and want to hurry it along so that I can continue with the rest of my day. Yet, I cannot rush it ahead; I need to let the machinery do its job to get my car cleaned. In a sense, the car wash has my full attention.
I started to think that maybe I can take this time to pray for someone and count the many blessings in my life.
Do you have tasks that need to be done and require your full attention? Do you feel impatient while you do these tasks? Maybe you, too, go through the car wash and feel the same impatience that I do. Would you want to join me with prayer and count the many blessings in your life? I would love to hear from you. Feel free to contact me. My contact form is below.

Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Your Word tells us to "pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." We admit we get impatient with the things we need to do in our lives and may not feel like praying or giving thanks. Help us with this in only the way You can. We give You thanks for Your help.

In the name of Jesus, we pray,

Amen
